She had to wear this gown that my mom got her at Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte, because my mom got it at Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte. We decided to do The Princess in Black costume, a superhero princess who puts goat-eating monsters in their place. She wore her crown that she already had and her "glitter-stone ring" that she made last month.
Marc went as the goat-eating monster. Cost: $17 for a yard of faux fur from the fabric store.
I was her sidekick Frimplepants, the superhero unicorn. Cost: $0.
On Halloween she chose to be a unicorn for trick or treating.
Unlike halloweens past, this time she understood the concept of trick or treating. She was hesitant of walking up to strangers' houses and knocking on their doors, but she overcame her fear and started to have a great time. She was so happy! She was even telling the people who were handing out candy that she's wearing her pajamas.
The library was open, and we went in so she can trick or treat. After she got her her candy she asked the librarian if she can stay.
After 20 minutes we went to a couple more houses and called it a success.
After 2 years we couldn't think of anymore famous "Amelias" so we turned to book based characters.
