THE SMALL LAGOON
The next day we all piled onto the bangka (outrigger canoe) and headed for the Small Lagoon. Once we got near the lagoon opening, we had to get on kayaks to pass through the small rock entrance.
When we went here two years ago, before Palawan made it on any world's most beautiful lists, I think we were the only ones there. It was so crowded this time. There must have been a dozen bangkas when we arrived late in the morning.
We've got a jumper up on the cliff.
This one on the right is contemplating jumping in herself.
A baby lagoon.
This is the second of four posts from our Palawan trip.

Photos in today's story were taken by Dr. Ricci Sylla, an ObGyn by profession and avid, snap-happy photographer at all other times. She likes taking pictures mostly of food but since the recent population explosion in her family, cute nieces and nephews show up much more frequently in her Picasa files. She hearts cake, ice cream, macarons, cotton candy and fancy desserts.
