El Nido Pangulasian Island

Throwback to April 2013, when we celebrated my mom's 60th birthday at El Nido Pangulasian Resort in Palawan, Philippines. It was the most beautiful place I've ever been and to say it is incredible is an understatement.

Flights to El Nido are only through private charters with its own private terminal at MNL airport. Air conditioned, uncrowded, and quiet. It was very nice despite the very early flight.

Matching resort wear with my mini globetrotter.

Recycled bamboo boarding passes are reusable and create no waste.

This baby is checked in and ready to jump in the water.

We've been waiting all day to do this.

Then there was the Lagoon Tour.

In the magnificent Big Lagoon.

Feeding the jack fish at Miniloc Island.

Lunch at Entalula Island, El Nido's private beach club.

Cathedral Cave.

Searching for sharks off of Pangulasian. This was about 100 yards from our villa. Our beachfront villa! I didn't find any but my brothers saw them.
