The Big Lagoon and Snorkeling at Miniloc

NEW YEAR'S EVE

New Year's Eve on the islands was celebrated with a dinner gala, show, music, floating lanterns release, and fireworks.

FIRST DAY OF 2016

We spent the whole day in one spot. Amelia played at the beach from breakfast to dinner, making sand castles, looking for shells, making friends, kayaking, and swimming. I actually read a book.

THE BIG LAGOON

Our last sunrise kayak was a success! We watched the sunrise at the entrance to the Big Lagoon like last time, but this time it was high(er) tide and we were able to paddle past the opening. It was my favorite part of the trip. It was big, unspoiled, serene, full of wildlife, and we got to enjoy this amazing piece of the world all to ourselves.
